St. James Annual Fair
Due to COVID-19 the 95th Annual Fair, originally scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2020 is now tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 26 with donation in-take to start Wednesday, September 9th.
We will be monitoring the COVID situation very carefully and a final decision of whether the fair will be held this year, will be made on August 1st.
We appreciate your understanding as we work through this difficult time.
The annual St. James fair is the highlight of the summer for many who live, or visit Woodstock.
Held every summer since the 1920s, the St. James Fair is a time honored Woodstock tradition. The fair provides excellent shopping opportunities with bargains on antiques, art, linens, knick-knacks, toys, books and a large selection of white elephant items. With crowds of shoppers on the green, live music on the steps of the church and yummy culinary delights, the fair has the feel of a festival.
After months of planning, almost every member of St. James - as well as friends of the parish, near and far - come together to work on the fair. For three weeks prior, volunteers work together to sort, price, and finally sell the vast array of donated goods that we receive. The one-day sale begins with the ringing of the church bell and provides bargains galore.
Donation intake for the 2020 Fair will begin on Monday, June 29.
Please note, we do not accept the following items: Mattresses, Computers/TV's, Ski Equipment, Clothing, Large Appliances, Sewing Machines or anything broken, moldy, or unsale-able.
All donations must be approved at drop-off.
