Liturgy and Music Festival 2024: Transcendence
St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock, in collaboration with Mission Farm in Killington and the visiting Downing College Chapel Choir of Cambridge, England, will be hosting a Festival of Liturgy and Music from July 18-21.
The theme of the event is transcendence — how we encounter the divine. Many of us have experienced moments of transcendence, times where we have felt a connection with a force bigger than ourselves. Sometimes the connection is quiet, sometimes it is ecstatic. The schedule of educational programs, music, liturgy and nature experiences invites participants to explore and discover their own connections to the divine.
